The Balwaan BP-650 is a 7 HP agricultural power weeder built for weeding and tilling fruit gardens, vegetable fields, and floriculture areas. It runs a 212cc 4-stroke petrol engine and works through a gearbox with two forward speeds and one reverse.

Overview of the Balwaan BP-650 Power Weeder Machine

Weeds pull nutrients out of the soil and hold back crop quality. Our BP-650 clears them and turns the soil over in the same pass, preparing the ground for planting. It suits all soil types, so the same machine handles an orchard floor and a vegetable plot. The gearbox gives the operator control rather than raw pull, which matters when working close to standing crops. Transport wheels and an adjustable handlebar make it easier to move between plots and set a comfortable working height.

Farmers comparing 7 HP power weeders can also consider the BP-500 for their cultivation needs.

Detailed Technical Specifications

Here are the key specifications of the Balwaan BP-650, including its engine, power, fuel capacity, and weight.

Engine and Fuel Details

The Balwaan BP-650 uses a 212cc single-cylinder 4-stroke petrol engine rated 7 HP, running at 3600 RPM. Starting is by recoil with an easy-start system, so no battery is involved. The tank holds 3.6 litres and the machine consumes about 1 litre per hour, which gives roughly three and a half hours of work on a full tank. Being a 4-stroke unit, our machine takes plain petrol with no fuel mixing.

Cultivation Width and Depth

The Balwaan BP-650 - 7 HP Power Weeder has a cultivation width of 3.5 feet and a cultivation depth of 6 inches. That combination covers ground quickly on open plots while still working deep enough to break compacted topsoil. The gearbox carries two forward speeds and one reverse, so the operator can pick a slower gear in heavy soil and reverse out of a row without turning the machine around. The BP-650 - 7 HP machine weight is 80 kg.

For inter-row cultivation, farmers can also compare the FR-180 Front Rotary Inter Cultivator and FR-350 Front Rotary Inter Cultivator.
